MindsetFitness

Nicky truly embodies the holistic approach to fitness at his gym. He challenges you physically while also providing deep insights into the mind and soul. If you’re searching for a place that isn’t cookie-cutter and focuses on developing and strengthening both your body and mindset, this is the gym for you. I’ve never been to a gym that emphasizes the health of the entire being—mind, body, and soul—quite like this one.

Mindset Fitness is not your ordinary gym. My wife and I, both of us over 55, joined in October and have enjoyed Nicky's exercise routines, his thought provoking insights and the best sunrises in the city. Thank you Nicky, for keeping real. Mind. Body. Soul.

My decision to train at Mindset Fitness has been one of the best decisions I've ever made for my health. At 55 years old, and after ignoring my conditioning for at least 15 years, I began with two months of 1:1 personal training with owner/operator Nicandro Gonzalez who is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced health coach and fitness trainer. In every session, his genuine commitment in providing me with an appropriate level of challenge and intensity with my workouts left me feeling confident to make this incredible change in my life that I otherwise had struggled to begin on my own. When I transitioned to his small group sessions, I was blown away at how Nicandro is able to continue to provide me the high level of personal attention I need while seamlessly doing the same for the other members in the group. I now have a supportive community at Mindset where everyone is excited to be there and are friendly and encouraging of each other. Surprisingly, the absolute best part in training at Mindset, and the secret to my success, is that Nicandro's mission for his clients far exceeds just achieving the expected physical outcomes of weight training which originally brought me there. Nicandro goes beyond by teaching and modeling a holistic and balanced approach to true health. In huge letters on the wall of his beautiful studio it reads "MIND BODY SOUL". With Nicandro, we often reflect on the big picture of life. We set personal goals, clarify our values and deeply reflect on our desired lifestyle and habits. Every day I train, I am supported in holding myself accountable to myself emotionally and spiritually. In my eyes, Nicandro is a true life coach, ally and thought partner whose healing practice is grounded in love, wisdom and gratitude. Mindset Fitness is a very special place…I'm blessed to have found it and honored to recommend it.

NickyG is my guru! My mind, body, and spirit has improved tremendously since working with him. He’s not just my trainer, he’s also my coach AND my cheerleader! I will be forever grateful for our paths crossing! Thank you Nicky!

This is one of the best work outs and beyond that I have experienced. Your time here encompasses mind, body and soul. LOL the trainer Nicandro is not for the faint of heart, but he truly cares about his clients and their overall well being. My husband and I both over 56yrs old find ourselves being challenged on all levels.
